Red Emma’s

The RV group will approach veganism from various angles: the political, historical, philosophical, technological, aesthetic, spiritual, scientific and the personal. This is an interdisciplinary/multimedia and intersectional dive into otherness; animal liberation::human liberation.

For the first session, fresh off the heels of Halloween, we will discuss the representation of “animal,” “nature,” and “otherness” in the horror films of Dario Argento as a start to analyze media representations of “animal”. It is recommended that folx watch Argento’s PHENOMENA and OPERA ahead of time. This is not required but helpful.

If you would like to be included on the mailing list to receive reminders of the group meetings along with a Google doc resources/reading list, please DM Norberto @mailer_daemonik or email redemmavegan@gmail.com.
