Red Emma’s

The colorful, melancholy, and playfully abstract painting style that encompasses Velazquez's portfolio stems back to her education in Studio Arts from Loyola University Maryland, where she graduated from in 2023. Velazquez credits her Baltimore-based undergraduate experience as what pushed her into discovering her love for messing around with composition in art, and trying not to be "so literal all the time," as well as her two cats who push her to keep her paint-water cups away from the edge of surfaces.
